Huge in state get! Kid will be a contributor in Lincoln no doubt after a redshirt year.

With the commitment of David, it brings the Nebraska class according to Rivals to a team ranking #26 (1,659 points.) The Huskers were at 29th last night with 19 commits.

One point shy of Cal who sits at #25 with 1,660 points.

If my son were good enough to be recruited into big time athletics, and to be clear he isn't, but if he were, I cannot imagine the pride that must go along with seeing your son accept a scholly to your hometown school. Welcome my man!!

As a parent of a kid who will sign tomorrow (not football at NU), you are spot on. The pride/happiness is seeing your kid feel rewarded for years of their hard work.

Nice pickup. All other things equal, give me the Nebraska kid.

Looks like a good athlete that could develop into a solid contributor but it is hard to see Engelhaupt as anything other than a fallback for missing on Fant.

We'll see how long Fant stays at Iowa....
