David Turner has left as MSU Defensive Line Coach. I don't think this is a bad thing. Sounds like he talked with Mullen about being our D-Coordinator and got shot down. Our D-Line never got enough pressure on the QB. A more aggressive coach at this position will make our D much better. Plus this could mean that we possibly may be about to hire a D-Coordinator and Mullen knew he'd have to clear the way for another spot on defense.
