Davie Co vs East Forsyth

4-1 Davie Co will play home against 2-2 East Forsyth. Finally after 3 attempts the game between Davie n Glenn got finished up. Davie lost in a heart breaker 53-46.
East Forsyth started out with 2 loses. Losing to Glenn 18-0, losing to Grimsley 27-7. But finally got their 1st win against RJ Reynolds 38-32. This past week E. Forsyth wins a big one against Reagan 42-12.
My thoughts... could this be a trap game for Davie or has E. Forsyth found their way like they have been. Hard to make a call. But it would not surprise me if East Forsyth pulled this one off.

I’ve been to the past three games. I think EF is finding their groove again. More comfortable and defense is getting better. Our Line is making more holes for RB and WR are getting the ball. Haven’t seen Davie this year but wouldn’t put my guard down.

East doesn't look anything like they did in week 1. They seriously have one of the best coaching staffs in the State. The team that played week 1 would not have won a single game all year with that tough schedule. If the team that showed up last week keeps showing up East is not only in the CPC Hunt but they will be hell to deal with come playoff time.

The defense has really showed up these past 2 games. Next week is the rematch with Glenn. My son is the team manager and is at every practice and he said the coaches are going hard at practice. Definitely good to see they are getting there confidence up and such a young team it’s amazing to see.

I remember Coach Beal from his days as a young assistant coach at NW Guilford. In my opinion from seeing him in action and what his defense has done the last few years he's one of the best D Coordinators in the State. I told my friend who's a booster at NW that what makes East Forsyth so good is that Coach Willert has 3 or 4 assistant coaches that are more than qualified for being Head Coaches. With that being said when I saw East Forsyth play in week 1 I said this is the worst team they've had talent wise in 15 years since before Danny Obrien. For that squad to be in the hunt for a Conference Championship is one of the best coaching jobs I've ever seen. Coach Willert in my mind is definitely CPC Coach of the Year!
