Looks pretty spot on. I'd drop Ole Miss a notch due to horrific parking and access.

I would say every school is within a spot or two of where I would rank them. Never been to Neyland though, it seems a little high to me.

No freaking way Bryant-Denny is 5th. I hate Bama but give the devil his due, that place is awesome. It is like being in an NFL stadium only bigger.

Davis Wade Stadium was ranked 11th in Athlon Sports' poll of the best football stadiums in the SEC. Link:

I kind of have a problem with LSU being #1. If you want to rank everything OUTSIDE the stadium, i.e. the atmosphere outside, then YES, Tiger Stadium is waaaaay up there, and I have no problem with the ranking. I always enjoy my times to LSU/OM games. HOWEVER, the actually stadium itself is a dump. The jumbotrons pale in comparison to OM's and MSU's. I'm sure they are doing upgrades as I type this, but I went last year for the OM game and it was the same as always. Now, its huge, but its a dump none the less. I believe Sports Illustrated or some famous Sports Radio personality said the same a few years ago.

And I agree with Hanmudog; Bama's stadium is pretty awesome IMO. I guess you are really splitting hairs, though.

it SHOULD go up at least a few spots, however, when dealing with these types of things, they will always find a way to justify putting us lower than what we deserve. the stadium itself will be in the top half in terms of actual appearance when completed, yet attendance is still in the bottom half of the conference and will still be after completion. its still going to take some time to change the reputation of the game-day environment as well. we are winning over some fan-bases after each and every game. pre-croom, it might have been the worst out of ever big 6 conference...now, its outstanding. we are turning a corner in that regard and opinions are only improving after each season. aesthetically speaking, i think we will be up in the top half, but we have other areas to improve.

If I was ranking them, Neyland would be at the bottom. It can hold many but it is terrible. And 17 that Rocky Top.....

I've spent extended amounts of time in both Bryant-Denny and Tiger Stadium...

From a fan's perspective regarding amenities, it's not even close. BD is the best appointed stadium in college football. Tiger Stadium is a dump in comparison. (Maybe a far better dump than anything in our state, but a dump nonetheless.)

how bout we just stop posting whatever ranking we are unless we are in the top half and assume that any other rank we see we are last or near last? lets go ostrich with head in sand on these rankings.

Count me as another who think Bryant-Denny and Neyland are both too low and high, respectively. I don't enjoy Sanford either, mostly because we always seem to be there when it's still hot, and there is zero wind movement in that stadium. I'd actually put it below Jordan-Hare and Williams-Brice.

Sanford Stadium is the best stadium in the SEC

I have been to almost every SEC stadium and Sanford is easily the nicest. Bryant-Deny just doesn't feel right for some reason. It is almost a little too sterile or something. I has no character.

Tiger stadium is a straight up dump. Yes it is large, but come on. It has escalators that have not worked in so long that they have johnson grass growing in them. Then they have those crappy old dorms built into the stadium that were probably really cool 60 yrs ago, but now look like total **** with all the busted windows. They should burn that place down and start over.
