You may think it is a POS now, but when we got that thing, it was state of the art, and one of the first ones in the SEC as I recall.
It was very nice when we got it. Ours was the first one installed in the SEC (a few more SEC schools had them in 97, as well). Electronics like that get so outdated so quick that with LED technology advancing like it has, in 10 years, that scoreboard was totally out of date. But it was badass when we got it in the 90's.

I'm gonna miss the replays during 1130am and afternoon kickoffs where I couldnt see a damn thing you provided. Was his foot out of bounds? Was that a fumble? I don't know. And neither does anyone else in attendance. It's sunny.

I wonder if there are any pictures of the old, pre minitron, scoreboard?
