I forget all the details now from 2002 but it wasn't even a discount was it? What I remember is he got the tires and his mom was supposed to take the money by later or something like that??????
I think the official story was that a booster put the tires on his credit card and Fant’s mom paid him back (or something like that.)

Well little Shapen is not going to throw for 400 yards and 4tds. It will be his last football game. Sorry, not even the Tupelo fireants arena football team would pick him up. He’s probably going to have a tough time at anything really until he sheds some of that unwarranted arrogance.
