...when it comes to this stuff we've fully entered Bill Simmons' 'Tyson Zone'. There's not much one could say that wouldn't sound at least plausible at this point.

Take it for what it's worth - but I recently spoke with a member of Jacobs' family (met by chance) - who said he justs want to play football and could give 2 bleeps about what was going surrounding the team - and this was very recent and right after the Carroo suspension et al...Thus I'd be quite surprised if Jacobs quit the team...but then again this is Rutgers FB 2015....
