Impressive seeing us lead the nation in errors and bad throws. Deluxe.
Just to bring joy to this thread, y'all heard Starkville was voted top 10 best little cities in oktibbeha County?
As long as Florida eats good and the social club is happy then I guess that’s all that matters.
Somewhat agree and I did say it was a very tough pitch to block, but really good catchers know how to slide out into that position to at least block it down in front of them, thus not letting the run come home. It looked a little like our catcher let the ball play him on the short hop. You could score it either way and I'd probably agree.....maybe a little bit of both.
And we got out of a bases loaded no outs inning without scoring a run to preserve the run rule loss. If this doesn’t sum up the last 4 years I don’t know what does.
So, likely Mizzou going to get a new coach. We probably are. O'Sully's seat was warming a bit, but if he sweeps us or even gets 2/3, they may be back on track and make a Regional. Not sure if S.Carolina's fans are ready for a change. I guess any way we slice it, softball is our next best bet. Maybe we should throw our support to the gals and help them do something.

Ummm…both the 1st base coach and the 3rd base coach look like they belong in banana ball.
Not sideways.....just discussin'. It was an important run at the time. Of course, it didn't really matter in the big picture.
Is Sturgis in Oktibbeha Co.? I kind of like Sturgis....especially when they used to hold the "Little Sturgis" festival there with all the Harley Hogs and stuff. Don't know if they do the "Little Sturgis" rally anymore, but if not, they should. It gathered a lot of nationwide interest focused on our area.
do you not listen thr modern baseball inventor himself, Ron Polk? 1 play can turn the whole game. Like a missed Double Play opportunity that costs you pitcher another 10 pitches and forces him out of the game an inning early, leading to our staff staring out in disbelief as their 30 year old senior implodes so fast I never occurred to them to have someone ready with just 3-2 lead!
I don’t have any more faith in Selmon than I do in Lemonis. He won’t make a move unless he’s forced to. And our fanbase is far too accepting of mediocre to bad baseball.
