According to CBS at music city bowl. Face it we got breaks this year in Georgia and Houston games. We did not make the plays against Auburn. Alabama and LSU beat us on our mistakes. Our strength of schedule put us in top 25 .... Not our wins. Last time I checked we were only top 25 with 4 losses. We are building, but we are laying a foundation. Mullen's goal was win at least 6, beat TSUN, and go to a bowl. I've been to the liberty, peach and cotton. Look forward to Nashville.

Got breaks against Houston? We mauled them. Look at the teams around us in the Top 25......you don't think we are just as good or better than them? And I think we could have handled SC this year.....the best team in the East by record.

It's NOT ok if we get screwed today. It's not ok to think that being passed by a horrid 6-6 Tennessee team in the pecking order is anything but bending over and taking it deep. The SEC should not let this happen and that's final. I'm going to drive my *** to Nashville because I support the team but its not and will never be "ok" with me.
All your "laying a foundation" ******** will be overshadowed by the fact that we just got the Peach Bowl stolen from us because some dickwad in the front office of the Gator Bowl thinks a "name" is going to draw more viewers. Why accept this? Im going to be pissed if this happens and I don't understand how you could feel any differently.

I live in Mississippi, we are the whipping boy of the nation. We have to overcome a lot of national prejudice. Tennessee finished strong in the eyes of the media. There are not but two bowls that mean anything to most people ...the championship bowl and the one your team plays in. If your team doesn't play in one, then only nor matters. My only exception is if your arch enemy is playing.

But I went from being really excited to pissed and disappointed about not only getting screwed but getting matched up against a team we played just last year.
Aside from Kentucky, Tennessee beat Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Memphis down the stretch. Those three teams have a combined record of 7-29. If they get selected over us, we got 17ed. Our team deserves to play on a big stage against Florida State. Not some hand me down bowl game against a team we played a year ago.
