DDDY 2010: First Round Voting

Here we go.

After a day of nominations, the selection committee has changed this year's format. Rather than trying to come up with the top 12 douches and seeding them, the first round will be World Cup-style preliminaries.

As someone else stated, there are 15 douches that could win this thing. Coming up with a top 12 would be impossible. Hell, deciding who would not make the field of 28 was touch (First douche out: The guy who stole Sesh's tent - sorry, Sesh)

Here's how it will work. The 28 doucheswere randomly sorted by Excel and divided into four pools of seven. The pool winners will advance to the bracket round, along with the top four vote getters that were not pool winners. Theoretically, one pool could send five douches to the zoouche.

Here are the pools and links to vote. Voting ends Friday and the bracket round begins next week. The eight bracket douches will have nice little writeups highlighting their doucheness.

That took a while. Doing it for 28 would be fun, but holy crap at the time. They'll be back for the next round.

Early Vegas odds are out - the pool favorites are Cowbell9, Mike Slive, Clay Travis and Pat Forde

Coach34, Crunchy Mike, Jet Butler's dad, all among favorites to get to the bracket round.

Crunchy Mike is an Ole Miss character, but his doucheness knows no boundaries. It would be a shame if he didn't get one of the wildcards.

All I have to say about this asshat-itry is that I find it comical that I get saddled with a ridiculous statement in my avatar. Then here is a contest, supported by this board obviously, that was founded on following some dude, that a few are obsessed with, on Facebook.

I don't need the statement in my avatar. It needs to be under sixpackspeak at the top of the board.

I meant to lock them all for suspense, but only locked Pool A. I'm sure the message boards will light up with accusations that the committee was showing favortism and stuff, but just like the NCAA, the DDDY committee doesn't give a **** about the fans.

No one stalked him on Facebook. The asshat walked around Starkville acting like his **** didn't stink for years. Then he came on this board and acted like a douche. Then he went to prison and now sells new and used quality Hondas in Brandon. Somewhere in there, he allegedly had sex with a cat.

Stansbury fell on his face as usual and is now starting his implosion

It wasnt a championship year, but definitely Elite 8

A lot has changed since making these predictions, but that's the nature of the beast. I liked the predictions at the time, but as for now I see #2 and #3 being a bust already.

1. Sidney decides to stay in school- everything is re-paid, and he is
ready to go next year
2. The hype starts that this is finally %!+%$##$$%'s team to make a big
run
3. We are a preseason top 25 team next season
4. I remind you guys that no matter who plays for us, we still have
%!+%$##$$%'s coaching
5. A couple of OOC losses have people amazed again
6. Neither Sidney nor Augustus wants to bang inside, Elgin Bailey legs
don't work because of injuries, Riek makes us wish we had Wesley Morgan,
and Lewis can't handle the post job for us
7. We are on the bubble aGAIN next year after finishing in a 3 way tie
for the West title with Mississippi and UPig

We make the Tourney as a 12 seed and lose in round 1 in the Northeast
somewhere

as much as anyone. But OEM was 100 times worse. Coach at least tries to make logical sense. Add OEM to one of the pools.
