We've had a lot of potential DDDY nominees as of late, Usually mid-season we have a thread so we can archive it and not forget anyone come tourney time.

Remember that the DDDY nominee should represent doucheyness toward MSU and/or this board. Marsha Henderson may be a douche, but he really didn't do anything worthy of the DDDY. However, if he is nominated, he makes pool play per the rules.

Will James is a lock. Maneri and Katz as well. Higgins in the media division. But what other Great Moments in Douchebag have we forgotten with all of this recent success?

An interesting twist this year, in my opinion

Will James has a good shot at winning. He is one very persistent douche. However, I feel that he WANTS to win. In his mind that would probably mean he had achieved the Coach34 "internet superstardom" he so badly wants. Now, the last thing I want is for that douche to feel that he is actually achieved anything, but that mind-set certainly deserves douchy bonus points. Or maybe that's just sad points.

You have to remember, while Coach34 always had a bid, he could never win a head to head with a real douche, which told me he wasn't ready for prime-time douche.

Will James is going to get a lot of noms, but when it comes to a Will James vs. Byron D'vinner or a Paul Maneiri, can he get past them in a head-to-head douche-off? And how does Will compare to past winners. The four winners that have been posters on this board have eclipsed Will James in every part of the game. If Will James wants to win, he'll start taking steroids, posting ninja turtles, fellating bananas in a GTO, picking fights out by the vet school and write articles that make no sense.

- Coach34 (the divorce thread and OM article are both worthy achievements of douche, plus he's a given midmajor who dominates their conference and - - makes it to the dance, but never makes a real threat at the title)
- Larry Templeton (we still suffer from his douche)

- Goat (anyone who has had as many usernames... and got a new one yesterday)
- Will James (many reasons, but not limited to, being impossible to talk to, wanting to be like C34, used to have a 34 in his handle, incessant commenting on lineup and **** threads, 3+ page arguments with Cadaver and Lasher, and other acts of douche)... Also, I think it was MSDawg34 who pretended to be Coach34 on the Wake Forest message board and when someone else took credit for it, he got pissed

I feel Will James actually had a decent chance at this. If for no other reason than doing his best to be just like coach34. I took a look at Will's twitter yesterday. Even with the advertising of his twitter he has like 19 followers. At least his hero C34 has a following.

I use it for in-game discussion and to get Matt Stevens to answer questions. I think the only thing C34 and I have in common is that we know our sports, have strong opinions, and use evidence including quoting past posts to win an argument. WIN an argument.

The only people that get upset are you postmodern, all opinions are equal, whiny, Paul Mainieri's of the board.

3. (Tie) Michael Wardlaw for exaggerating DeVinner gate and hyping the media.

3. (Tie) Steve Robertson for throwing MSU under the bus to pimp his website over DeVinnergate

5. The Touhys for bribing DeVinner to slander MSU

6. Talty for multiple infractions like dating a rebel and just being Talty.

7. Brandon Spec for being a rebel (we have pictures) and inventing C Jones rumors which he then reported.

Hugh Freeze and ESPN deserve nominations. ESPN for ruining NSD by airing Ole Miss TV on ESPNU for an entire day, forcing us to listen to Jimmy Dykes and about 50 other douchey things.
