Come to MSU and you are a 4 year starter on a team that is built to win TODAY. No need for a iffy rebuilding project at Ole Miss where the head coach is already on the hot seat.

That is all.

Do I take whatever benefits Ole Miss is offering me and play on a rebuilding team, or do I go to a team I've liked since the beginning that is winning and has an open spot right now for me to play right now.

This whole thing is dumb, because no matter what Ole Miss people say, they know this is what's happening. After the recruiting visit he had and the awful way he was treated, why in the world would he want to go there? If the same thing happened at our school, I would be ashamed of our fan base, and not expect that guy to commit to our school. Now all of a sudden he is 50/50 or whatever, and he may commit to the very school whose fanbase mistreated him? Yeah, that doesn't sound fishy at all.

You are wanted at MSU by every single person at MSU CJ. You have a spot sitting here waiting for you. We are about to put 2 LB's in the NFL draft. The future of football in MS is in Starkville.

CJ decommitted after Diaz left for Texas. He said that in an interview. Said he was shocked that Diaz left and simply lost his comfort in his committment. In my opinion it's a legit reason to re-evaluate the options.

Just b/c a player decommitts or wavers doesn't automatically mean he's being offering benefits from the other school. Although I'm not saying the potential benefits are absent.

So why go to OM to a DC that absolutely sucks and hasn't stopped our Offense in two years? If I were CJ I would pick State bc I wouldnt want to get killed by the team I turned down.....

Of course that is what's happening.....good to know you think CJ is the kind of kid that would take illegal benefits. Im sure that is what happened with Moncrief, Golson, Morris, Hamilton, etc. But of course, that isn't what happened with Arrington and Maiden.

It's stupid stuff like you just posted that opposing coaches use against you. Not you specifically, but fan's in general You are obviously one that feels message board fodder matters, or you wouldn't have posted your last paragraph. Do you understand how good D1 football coaches are of taking something like that, and spinning it in their favor?

Last, the fact that you think every person at MSU wants CJ, and every person @ Ole Miss, LSU, etc. don't want CJ is stupid. Of course we all want him....hence the recruiting battle. He is a great player, great kid, and is going to represent the University he decides to attend very well. He is one that no matter which school he chooses, most fan's will still wish the best for him, because he has handled himself very professionally throughout the entire process.

Again, and I mean this with all sincerity, fan's should consider the things they post about these kids. Something that seems so trivial to you, such as stating CJ is considering taking illegal benefits from Ole Miss, could be the one small piece that turns a 50/50 decision into a 55/45 in your rivals favor.

apparently change out your offensive staff when I believe they either did or came close to setting a record this past season for total points scored. On the other hand they had one of the worst defenses in the history of OM football but apparently are going to leave everyone on that side of the ball in tact. CJ better realize that even if Nutt survives next season that Nix is on very thin ice. Still wouldn't surprise me if some defensive coaches are fired after signing day is over.

...but only if it leads to Mississippi State. If your heart is telling to go elsewhere, come to State anyway. You'll learn to like it.

a black athlete would choose Ole Miss, considering your "history"if they have other SEC offers made by schools not named Vandy. Conferderate flags, the playing of Dixie,Col Reb, etc, just does not sound like good recruiting tools to me. Cash on the other hand does, Iam sure that you can now understandthe confusion that our fans feel.

We get it....you post it over and over. It's obvious that between you and Mutt, there probably aren't two bigger racists on all message boards. The fact that you are too stupid to understand the things you describe and the other 99.9% of our fanbase shows your lack of education. You know, Im sure Ole Miss is the only school in the south with a few racist fans. Of course there are NONE of these people at other SEC institutions. Just Ole Miss.

Your stupidity and bigotry continues to shine through. Maybe you should ask yourself why it is so difficult for MS State to sign any quality OOS players, while Ole Miss does so yearly. Maybe it's because people outside of the state, as well as in, understand that things that happened in the past are just that. Maybe MS State has a reputation worse than Ole Miss outside of the state. It's apparent you can't recruit OOS, so there must be something to that, right?

Last, it's funny the one common between the in-state recruits this year is this......Ole Miss really seems like a place that is going to take care of me, and cares about me. Now, Im sure you will spin that into illegal activities, because you don't have a better argument. But what you are saying is that these kids are cheaters, and Im sure they appreciate that title. All of them, except Arrington and Maiden, of course. Especially since that is the only two you will get come signing day.

Have you ever thought about why you have to go out of state to get recruits? Maybe it's because most people in our state see your school and your fan base the way it actually is. A shell of what it used to be. A sad excuse for what their fans call a "prestigious" school. A school where talent goes to waste with washed up coaching and arrogant fans. A school with expectations so ridiculously high that there is no other option than failure.

There is no doubt in my mind that money is involved in this years recruiting season.
