that stupid? Seriously though, Bost was one who, in his own eyes, never did any wrong.......He was always complaining either about the coaching (which was sometime prolly legit) or about the other players (any complaining about Sidney is warranted).......He never met a shot he didn't like.......Late in his career his defense was horrible......Wasn't always like that.......He used to be a good defender but he got lazy........He also never did drive to the hoop enough.......He had the ability to be a slasher and for the most part he just wanted to sit outside and shoot 3's........I hope he enjoys his stint over seas...........</p>

Bost was a cancer. You wouldn't believe half of what went on. I dogged him last year after he got suspended TWICE, and was chastised on here for it.

That's the place where fringe prospects try to improve their stock enough to get into the 2nd round. He didn't bother going.

now that his career is over and you kind of step back and look at it as a whole I couldn't agree more.

How many guys we're starters from day one and never cemented themselves as a team leader? For the most part he acted like he didn't give a **** for 4 years. The only time he did speak up was to criticize a coach.

I don't care if the guy wants to be a whiny ***** and refuse to accept he's not good enough or not hard enough of worker. That's on him. However, the minute he states in public that Mississippi State is what held him back, he should be erased from the record books. MSU was more than accommodating for him and his slack *** teammates over the years. If I recall correctly, he wasn't the most recruited prospect, either. If anything the guy should be going out of his way to thank MSU for the opportunity he had. 17 him.

Dude just wasn't very bright. I mean, he probably means well throughout the dumb things he does, but he just never had it upstairs. Bless his heart, etc.

Also, that makes 3 dumb as hell point guards in a row. J-Money, Gary Ervin, D3. If you want to count incense-smoking Smith, that'd be 4.

Someone quits (ex. Hood), we trash the hell out of him. Someone decommits (ex. Gray), we trash the hell out of him. After ALL the players that have quit on the program.... then one guy who played hard for so many years/games/minutes for MSU and carried a HUGE work load as far as handling the ball says one sentence and everyone is ready to crucify him. If it were up to yall, we would have zero players on the basketball squad. I even saw a thread on here earlier criticizing Jalen Steele for tweeting about working hard to get money... when in reality we should be ecstatic that he even still wants to play here.

That dude stepped up more than the all those other pg's combined.

Jamont is a top 5 basketball player in my book (as far as being a favorite I should say).

Bost in essence bad mouthed State based upon the original article. And Hood - well - he seems to have quit on the university too.

Multiple people calling 1 person a "sheep," but I digress.

Bottom line is whether Bost is bad-mouthing the University or not, a lot of yall are taking offense to this because you believe that Mississippi State is more prominent than it really is on the national stage. I just feel you've got to appreciate players that are able to compete for MSU as well as Bost did for 4 years, but instead we are putting him on the same level as all the other players that have been chastised for leaving/quitting.

Go dawgs, but if you decide to even consider an offer from State, you better make sure you not only accept it, but come to campus, stay 4 years, never talk, be an All-American, and win some natties (you know, stuff very little college athletes accross the country accomplish) or you stand a good chance of getting roasted.

is what we are here for. And Bost is one of the biggest factors for the cluster17 we have witnessed the last few years. We DESPERATELY needed a leader on our teams the last couple of years. And Bost should have been it. But he wasn't.
