Define "a good showing" against Bama

At this point you could probably say scoring at least one TD in Tuscaloosa is a good showing.
I wouldn’t go as far as to say that I’d be pleased with this, but beating the spread would be entirely acceptable to me. Doing so would either mean that Arnett had a fantastic game plan for Bryce Young or else Leach will prove me wrong by showing that this offense can actually move the ball against a good pass rush.
The game still being in doubt at halftime would constitute a good showing to me.
Get out with no injuries and stay with in the spread. Can we win? Sure we can. Will we win? No, just plain no.
The ESPN crew is still talking about our game and not everything else in the third quarter.
Without sharp and Johnson ? Staying within 30 points would be about what I would expect. And to get out of there in one piece.
If we're not competitive going into the 4th quarter, it's not a "good showing" to me. I think some people may be using "good showing" synonymously with "achieving or over achieving", which I think is fair, but I just can't call a game we're not competitive in good.
I guess I'll feel slightly better if we at least move the ball on offense, and maybe should consider us moving the ball and them not scoring at will a good showing, but it won't be enjoyable.

For me to win Powerball Saturday night would be very acceptable.

What would I be able to temp them with that they can not get from Bama boosters? Even I have limits.
This would be a good showing for me.
talent gap notwithstanding… this is just a bad matchup. We aren’t great at stopping the run and they can run the ball. I expect Bama to have lots of long drives, similar to Kentucky. Offense will play not be able to get in a rhythm because they won’t have the ball very long.
hope I’m wrong but I expect it to get ugly.
