Southern Miss fans feel like they got the shaft? Boise State is playing in the Las Vegas against 6-6 Arizona State.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Mustard Buzzards. Boise State beat UGA this year and their one loss isn't UAB or Marshall. I don't think they deserved a BCS bid, but Houston at #18 got a very good Penn State team. #7 Boise State has to play a terrible Arizona State ball club.

Say what you want about Boise State not being worthy or whatever you want to say, things that aren't arguable: Kellen Moore is one of the greatest <span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">college</span></span> quarterbacks of all time, their coach is one of the top 5 in the game, and their fan base is one of the most supportive fan bases in college football. I just don't think Kellen Moore should have to play his last game at #7 against Arizona State.

not like the rules are ever really enforced too heavily over here anyway, but I've noticed that USM is really the only school where no one bitches about a rule 18 violation when they are called mustard buzzards (or anything else for that matter), which I am guilty of as well. Why is that I wonder?

and my best guess is that everyone has it so ingranded that they are a 2nd rate school that nobody gives a ****. Rule 18's usually stand out to me but until you brought it up I never even noticed this one. It happens so often I have to pause for a second to think of USM actual nickname. I notice the SMU mistake right away. Not Buzzards. Honestly I like Buzzards as a nickname for them.

If you ever go to one of their message boards, you'll quickly realize that they deserve to be rule 18'ed.
It is absolutely childish the amount of Ole Piss, MooU, Leg Humpers, etc etc you will see.
All 10 of them must be 12 years old.

It's pretty ridiculous but also funny watching how they think they're being clever when it actually makes them look childish. But after a while, I've been calling them mustard buzzards without a second thought, but until recently I realized that technically it's a rule 18 as well and couldn't help but think how funny it is that no one else on this board really bitches about it. Honestly, I'm not going to stop either way since it suits them (like you said).
