For the last five or so years I have used sportsbook.com for my degenerate gambling sports bets. This site has worked well for me in the past, however it appears to have moved operations to another country and that has me slightly concerned. My questions are: has anyone had success with the new sportsbook, specifically when it comes to getting checks from them without a hassle? Also, what other sites out there do you recommend?

search sportsbook on sps....good thread....i forget who it was, but he was very informative....Ive used sportsbook for 5 years, and after what I have read, i am done...i am real skeptical about who to use, but I am about 95% sure I am going to use 5dimes.com.....after reading all the reviews, there are only about 3 I would use, and i narrowed it to this one....its all a matter of what you want, but they seem to have best reputation at this point....I think MedDog uses Bodog, but not sure....I am going for my first deposit on 5dimes early next week....I think....but definately search "sportsbook" on sps and find that thread....good info...
I haven't tried to do anything since all of the shutdowns that occurred since last football season. Hopefully I can still do it, because I know I'm a 17ing degenerate gambler and I do not want to have to find another fix.

I know sportsbook is popular but I can't stand it. Don't put all the lines out, big games have way too much juice and don't like to move off the numbers 3 and 7. If all you care about is easy credit card deposits and maybe some signup bonus, it will do it's purpose. Don't expect early lines though and you only get totals of some of the games.

I can go back into it here, or you can use the search function. The only new update as far as I am concerned is that bookmakers master card processor is down, so I moved bac to legends that is offering some great bonuses right now. These bonuses are real cas bonuses not "free play" bonuses. Let me know if u need some more info or u can email or pm me for additional information.

Most of the good ones have gone digital and use a website now. They give you an account and you can call in or place bets on line. They you just pay or collect when you reach your preset limit...
It was about 6-7 years ago when this happened. Anyway I made a deposit with them via my debit card. About3 mins. after the transaction my card company called to verify that I made some purchase at a hair salon in LA, Cali., it was the same amountIreloaded intoSB. I said no and got the money put back into my bank account. However, my money still showed up with Sportsbook and wagered with it.
This was when they had some legislation going on about internet gambling and they blocked many US banks from making deposits.

I'm not calling u out, but you have no idea how it all works. What you stated above is wrong. Again why would someone send sportsbook.com your money these days? Does anyone research anymore or just send money off. When you want your money u will not get it an Ur games are all void bc they didn't get their funds. Needless to say, what did u want them to do? Dispute the charges? It's not legal for that to happen.
Also, they have "processors" these days. Not getting into all of that again typing on my phone though.
