Pretty sure I have seen people make similar comments about him for the past few weeks. I don't think they waited until today to say these things.
Could be one of two things....
1) People naturally want to bad mouth a guy that goes elsewhere, or 2) people with doubts about a player have waited to say anything. Time will tell how big a loss this is, but we know that at the very least our staff wanted to sign him.

I really wanted to see Alexanders at MSU. NEVER good going up against....
Auburn at the 11th hour......my UM buddy told me last night that is the worst school to go up against at the last minute.....and then you see what happend to Daniel and Mix.....

It might be pathetic....
but someone has to counteract the melt down for some of these guys. Save the freak out for something much bigger, such as a guy like Chris Jones. Mix is a good prospect, but there are more players like Mix.

Gus hasn't welcomed him to the family yet either. Faxes usually don't take that long to arrive.
From what I Understand,
Mix was playing injured most of this year. I simply never have understood the 'rational' to bad-mouth a kid, especially one that we offered a scholarship.
Would you have post this 'if' he had signed with State? Sure hope you wouldn't.

I heard his final two were us and Clemson and the Auburn visit didn't have an impression on him. Not saying it won't happen, but I don't think he'll go to Auburn.
