In all seriousness, the first time I crossed paths with disrespectful posters on VaPreps was so long ago that many of the players from that time are now coaching in the freaking NFL. It is hard to take anyone serious on the topic all these years later. It's Chicken Little Syndrome. Americans and disrespect are as American as Americans driving much, much slower than autobahn speeds but having them believe that they are driving really, really fast.They might as well just tell us what's going on. A lot of gibberish on this thread. But the joke one about chicken nuggets was actually the most accurate. Federal government provides a very small part of schools budget compared to local and state. But they do subsidize school lunch and breakfast, and fund reading specialists for qualifying elementary schools.
