Derrick Brooks to the Saints?

Simoneau needs sugery on his triceps so the Saints have invited Brooks to camp.

I think I like this. I think he's still got a little left, and at worst can be a great personality in the defensive locker room.

Yea, with Simoneau out I think this a solid move. Didn't Brooks play MLB and Simoneau play OLB though? Either way, Vilma should gain insight by having Derrick Brooks around.

He's always been a great player and what he can't bring in lost physical ability, he can definitely bring in experience and leadership. No reason not to take him
