Jon Banks would have this year

if he wasn't a SR going to the draft. Ray wanted/looked into bringing him in.

Wish Gholar would have played more football.

Also wish we would've thrown him a fade route jump ball one time that season. JUST ONCE.

And Lincoln Smith should've played LT.

Says he is. Should be the easiest of the 2 sports to play. You're priority is football because that's your scholarship. So you don't start bball until after the regular season is over. Then you balance bball and football during bowl practice (no school then, so easier). Then after the bowl game you go 100% bball.

This looks like a basketball "commit" and it's a 17ing brilliant move by Rick Ray! Kudos to Mullen too he essentially just gave Ray 14 scholarship players for 4 years. Why is this not done more often?

So since he is a recruited football player I'm assuming...

he counts against the 85 scholarship limit in football and will be considered a "walk on" in basketball. Would that be correct?

I doubt it's this simple or LSU's whole track team would suddenly be playing football too.

If you play football it counts against football numbers no matter what. If you were a bball player and decided to play football, you would count against football numbers.
