Pink Floyd at night and Fleetwood Mac during the day ONLY if I could get Stevie Nick as an add on.

Stranded and can only access one musical performer's catalog. I'd have to go with the Stones. Lot of variety throughout their long career, blues-based, dozens of classic songs and many damn fine ones. For me, not really another choice that would be close.
If tne beaches were made of cocaine, maybe your Stones would show up.

Keith Richards on 60 minutes:

“I was a junkie for 10 some odd years ”

If I was stuck on an island with only one record player and nothing but Eagles music.

You guys crack me up. 95% of artists coke it up. “Shes the only one!”

🤣
Nope - never said that. But, AFAIK, she's one of a very few who actually burned through the septum in her nose doing coke. Keef's drug of choice was heroin, BTW, although I'm sure he 'tried' coke. IMO, Mick was more likely to be the one doing coke than Keef. Stevie might be a strong contender for top slot of RNR personalities who did the most coke without dying.

If I’m on a deserted island I’m taking widespread panic of course. 3x a day they play coconuts.

Think David Crosby is up there.

Probably O.A.R., but Zeppelin and the Smashing Pumpkins would at least make me hesitate with my answer.

Off subject. Just watched a documentary on Alice Cooper. No, not the band I would want to listen to forever on a desert island. Loved the band back in my junior and high school days.

Probably Jackson Browne for me though. Yeah, yeah not a band. However, I'd rather listen to blues/jazz/classical these days.

p.s. Lawyers in Love was an abomination.

Have to go with Zeppelin. Great blues, great rock and even some funk. Most talented band ever IMO.

Actually like the Stones and the Allmans more on any given day but there's not nearly the variety in their music compared to Zeppelin.

We have front row, VIP seats for Alice in Savannah. You get to spend some time with Alice too. I've blown out a knee so my sister in law is taking my spot. No, we don't have money, this is a one time splurge for my wife. She's done nothing but take care of me for 2 years. We saw him a few years ago in Savannah. He's old and the crowd is old but it was still a great show.

Beatles for me, although a very hard choice. They cranked out a lot of albums in a short time. Rubber Soul and everything after is great. Crazy they recorded all their music in about 7 years.

+ if you write a catchy melody or riff they’ll be more than happy to perform if for you and take credit for coming up with it.

Good points. I don't totally agree with the Stones not possessing the variety: early Stones with Brian Jones was bluesy, poppy, psychedelic, folksy, etc. Prime Stones incorporated country, gospel, soul into their bues/rock mixture. Throw in some funk and disco in the late 70s. Pretty diverse, imo. Not the musicians that Zep was (although Mick Taylor doesn't take a backseat to anyone in my book) but their music didn't need 'the best', just needed the groove to be right. But Zep was a beast, no doubt.

Yes had some amazing talent. Rick Wakeman, Chris Squire, Jon Anderson, Steve Howe. As much as I loved the group in my youth there's no way I could spend the rest of my life on a deserted island listening to them. That actually goes for most bands. After 20 years or whatever I'd go nuts plus I'd also wonder, how the hell could I even play this music on a deserted island.

Was my first thought when I saw the thread title. But I'd have to go with Neil Young (with the caveat that it includes Crazy Horse) or Bob Dylan. Tough call.
