Can we change our mascot, too? Seems to be popular today.
I've never been high on Walking Bully. I like all these better

or at least ask him to consider bringing back the interlocking MSU (and, if necessary Nike - or buy the 17ing rights from Nike) for football. He has clearly shown that he is not scared to make things happen.
Nike only owns the rights to the one specific logo we used during the Sherrill years. We used other slightly different logos throughout the 1980's and one with just the MS and not the U during the 1970's. We could go back to one of those logos, which we still own the rights to, or design a new interlocking MSU logo and there would be nothing Nike could do about it. We didn't drop the interlocking MSU logo because Nike had the rights to it, we dropped it because Templeton wanted to use the M-State logo for everything and he used Nike having the rights to that one logo as an excuse.
