We found our seats in section 115 prior to the game, and were watching the pregame warm-up. I noticed a dark haired college age girl with a "DG's love the Dawgs" sticker on her shirt walk up the bench seats and sit down a row behind me, and talk to a girl she knew for a few minutes. After pregame, she went to her seat, and I didn't think anything else about it. When LDP ran into the end zone for our first touchdown, everyone in our section (Including my son, who commented on it) saw the Bud Light can fly up in the air from the center of the lower portion of section 115 directly in front of us. We were all celebrating, ringing cowbells, and slapping hands, and didn't notice who the beer came down on (It was obviously full, based on how much was coming out in the air). After the extra point, I noticed a college age boy, and a mid to late 40's man having words from the area the beer can originated. The words got loud enough for me to hear a couple of "17 You's!" from 5 rows away before the young man pushed the older gentleman. There wasn't much chance for him to retaliate before a girl came out of nowhere and jumped on the college kid, putting him in the headlock and the crowd spread out to give them room. I guess the girl I had seen prior to the game was sitting next to the older guy, and decided to take things into her own hands. She had the guy in a headlock with her left arm, and was raining punches down on him like a jackhammer with her right. Apparently everyone around them was so amazed that a girl was doing this to a guy that they didn't intervene until she had put 12-15 pop knots on his head. Someone finally pulled her off of him, and the guy got up, and walked off, but later came back, and his head was swollen up like he had an allergic reaction. He had a black eye, and a few bruises were already visible on his cheek and behind his eye by half time. Did anyone else see this? Looks like the drink throwing is taking care of itself to me. I know that guy will think twice before throwing another $8 beer!
