I better damn well see some Arkansas recievers getting jammed at the line. This 10-15 yards off scrimmage is a bad idea especially against mallett. We have to stop worrying about getting beat by low percentage plays to give them a **** load of high percentage plays.

If they are going to beat us I want them to do it with low percentage plays 50 yards at a time, not 10 gauranteed damn yards every snap.

That was probably most of the problem against Bama, that the CBs were trying to compensate for the coach-mandated cushion by trying to blow the reciever up instead of using sound tackling.

But don't think we don't need that cushion. Our CBs are well below league average.

Diaz needs to tell them they can tighten that cushion up "just a bit". Ideally only a couple of yards. It keeps the cushion that our CBs need so they don't get blown past and burnt deep, but it psychologically takes the pressure off the CBs, resulting in sound tackling.

But we sure as hell need to start guarding the 1st down marker on 3rd and long. And if our CBs are that bad in coverage, they should be blitzing a lot more than they have been. </p>

Arkansas does a fantastic job of checking down to the underneath slants, crossing routes when defenses show blitz and they always getalot ofYAC. We have got to have our DBs check them at the line. We are going to have to disguise and fake some blitzes to confuse Mallet. If I am Diaz, I am dropping DLs one play. The next playI am bringing the house.

But....Only way we really keep Arkansas under 21 points is to hold the ball. Our offense is going to have to move the chains and finish drives. We can not settle for field goals or field position.......though we will take it. We will need time consuming drives that lead to at least 4 TDs to win.

The offense will have to keep the drives going and keep Mallett off the field. We also have to and I mean have to stop giving the recievers 15 yards on 3rd and 8. I understand that our DB's may not be that good at man coverage but this is the one game they absolutely have to step up. On another note our receivers need to make some damn catches. I'm still waiting on our best game of the year because we have not played a great game all year. I mean on offense, defense, and special teams. Now is the time, to hell with this Cam stuff tomorrow is gameday.
