Tulane: Sources close to the search tell us the focus
remains on guys with previous head coaching experience. Representatives
have already spoken with Leach and Jeff Jagodzinski and we hear they are
meeting today or tomorrow with Rich Rodriquez. One name that doesn't
have head coaching experience; but that we hear Tulane is interested in
learning more about is Texas defensive coordinator Manny Diaz. We hear
they plan to interview several more candidates.

You don't go to Texas to be a DC in order to jump at the first HC job offered at a low tier conference USA program.

One foot is somewhat on a banana peel.
Texas is a hot box, they restaffed last year after a bad season, and I'm sure the pressure there is tough.
Not where he would want to go, but he certainly is job hopping.
