Did I miss where Talty wrote an article about the Nkemdiche-UMC stuff?

Props to him. Illustrates how these shitballs to the north are operating, clearly in 'the gray area'. I guess now the party line was that Sunday Nkemdiche was really the most qualified candidate. Anybody who believes that is just brain dead.

If anybody wants to know why Ole Miss may end up with a good recruiting class, look no further. This crap is their life.

http://www.clarionledger.com/articl...-s-dad-s-UMC-job-application-raises-questions

Edited: I do find it odd that it was filed under Ole Miss Sports, and not High School Sports, therefore knocking it way down the current news list because of the bowl game. Nice job, Spin Machine.

He must have written that to give the appearance of impartiality b/c according to you guys, he is a total OM homer.

Also, I know the butt hurt is strong with everyone here, but you can give up on this one. First, the dude did not get a job. Second, he appears to be qualified for the job. If he is qualified for the job, then there will be nothing the NCAA or anyone else can do to prevent him from taking a job to be closer to his children.

I know the party line. He does not live with his children now, so why should he start. Well the answer to that would be that he won't live with his children if he took job in Jackson either, but he has kept his job in ATL to be closer to the little brother, so he obviously is trying to stay close to them.

That statement isn't entirely accurate. You may end up being right but in no way is it cut and dry on the up and up as you imply

Of course the NCAA can't prevent him from taking a job. But they can prevent his son from playing for ole miss.

The rumors were true about Nkemdiche and PEER, so I see no reason to not believe that the rumors about NCAA looking at Ole Miss aren't true. Could be worse for the rebs than they are letting on. Move on, nothing to see here.

I am not implying anything.

I am saying that unless you will be able to prove that more qualified candidates are passed up for his hiring, nothing will ever come of it. By all accounts, the man is qualified for the job, so unless an email from someone comes up that says "Please hire Mr. Nkemdiche over Mr. NotNkemdiche " then nothing can or will come of it.

I don't know how you live through the day either. You come on here and write dumb **** like that. How can it NOT be suspicious when the father of the #1 recruit in america will potentially be employed at an entity owned by the state agency that recruited his son. And gave him a scholarship. You act like that would be no big deal?

Seriously? He is a research doctor. Where would you prefer for him to apply for a job that would not draw the ire of MS State fans? He doesn't have a license to practice medicine, so his options seem to be limited. I suppose he should probably put in an application to St Jude, but what if RN is going to LSU or Bama? Wouldn't Jackson be the most likely place for him to seek employment? The guy doesn't even have a job and you guys are acting like the sky is falling.

There will be less than nothing come of this. You should be more worried about showing your coaches how to buy 2004 Mustangs without it being traced back to you.

Doesn't his mom live in Africa? If he doesn't live with his dad, who does he live with? His dad must really be out of the picture if he can't get joint custody when the mom lives on another continent.

Seriously, the Ole Miss fanbase is the ONLY people in America who see it the way you do. Everybody else knows that there must be more to the story if the #1 recruit in America from Georgia chooses to go to Ole Miss. No disrespect intended, it just is what it is. You're Ole Miss, no more no less. Not a major football destination.

My question is this: Were any of the other candidates for this job licensed physicians? If they were, then he was not the "most qualified" because he is still not licensed. Second, Why in the world would UMC be looking to fill a position that had not even received the grant funds? I have done many business transactions with UMC over the last few years and I will say this- they will not spend money they dont have right now. That place is millions of dollars in the hole.

This whole thing stinks of OM filth.

It is all b/c of a job for his Dad and it has nothing to do with his brother playing at OM? If Denzel was not at OM, Robert would not be even considering OM. You guys are about to get your *** kicked in recruiting right after an *** kicking int he EggBowl and you can't stand it.

And for the 10th time, his Dad does not have a job at UMMC. He applied for a job and then removed his name from consideration. You act like we just paid a janitor $150k/yr.

Maybe he wanted to be close enough to watch his son, Denzel, play every Saturday. What a joy it would be for him to be able to watch BOTH of his boys play in the same stadium every week.0

He lives with his white HS coach, who is the father of none other than State QB signee/disappearing act Nick Schussler. So Nick is technically his step brother. It is very convoluted and smells of all the "Blind Side" BS TacoBoy and stupid wife were up to.

That's the price you pay for having a son that is the #1 recruit in America. There are just some things you can't do.

It would be like Hugh Freeze hanging out at strip clubs. Is is technically illegal for him to do so? No..... But that's the price you pay for being the coach of a D1 school.

With all that said, i still thinks he signs elsewhere.

Anywhere he wants to. As long as it's not an entity owned by the school that it recruiting him. What part of this entire shitstorm are you not understanding?

What a joy it would be for you to have a firm dick inside your mouth......

His father does not even live with his son. How much of a joy do you think it is for him to hang out with his son if the son of a ***** doesn't even LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE as the kid he claims he wants to be around. Ole Miss is CLEARLY in the wrong on this and they know it.

Take deep breath, re-tie your bow-tie, choke on it, and go back to the Spirit

First, try to stay classy.

Second, if the father and sons aren't close and DGAF about each other, why is it a big deal if the father takes a job in Jackson, MS?

Third, 17 you. Did I do that right?

It's funny that the only place that he's applied is in Jackson. If he really wanted to be close to his children he'd apply to the University of Memphis research hospital or the UT Health Science Center and Medical School. Sure, Jackson is 10 mins. closer than Birmingham, but then he would be too close to his youngest son who will live in Tuscaloosa.**

They should probably buy the sons NEW matching Z71s so that they can visit their father when he's working long weekends.**

His high school coach is not Scheussler's dad. He lived with the Scheussler's his junior year but this season - he has lived with his high school coach.

Is he a US Citizen? I'm asking; I honestly don't know. If not, by law, they would have to prove that they couldn't find a US Citizen qualified enough for the job before hiring him.

And right on cue...a new RN article comes out. Down to LSU & OM. I know most of you have been hoping Bama could get him, but it doesn't look likely.

To clear up some misconceptions...

His parents are married. His dad works in the Atlanta area, which is slightly less than and hour from Grayson HS.

Nkemdiche's father, Sunday, lives in Atlanta, but his work schedule made it difficult for Robert to keep attending school at Grayson High. When Beverly Nkemdiche returned to Nigeria, Grayson High assistant coach Lenny Gregory became Nkemdiche's legal guardian. Nkemdiche lived with Gregory for two years, and then lived one semester with Conn's family. Nkemdiche has lived with Rams quarterback Nick Schuessler's family for much of the past year. Schuessler signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday to play football at Mississippi State this coming season.

No, just pointing out the obvious. You may do well in recruiting. I'm pretty happy with where MSU stands right now, regardless of what you do. But if you skirt the rules, you're going to get called out.

He's said LSU was his #1 choice. But who cares, if he signs with Ole Miss, you're still a douche. I don't know though, you do seem to derive your self-confidence from Ole Miss recruiting. Which explains why you're so sensitive while fronting like a hot shot.

Agreed- if the part about the position not even having funding yet is true, then that makes absolutely no sense with all of the recent layoffs they've been doing. It's been difficult even keeping some teachers on staff- people that have been long-time employees.

Don't know what their qualifications are for research physicians.
