Why should they?
freaking losers
Seriously? Their punter spent a lot of time with Sam's dad before the game. He hugged Mr Foltz hard enough to crack a rib.
Exactly and every team has made a very classy gesture to date. It a showing of brotherhood and family. But not with these guys apparrntly. ...Everyone else has been classy.
How do you know they didn't do anything? Does it only count if the TV cameras are rolling?Exactly and every team has made a very classy gesture to date. It a showing of brotherhood and family. But not with these guys apparrntly. ...
Because each team has freaking public made it known their kindness!!!!!How do you know they didn't do anything? Does it only count if the TV cameras are rolling?
ThisI don't care if they did or not make a gesture today. I know they grieve with Husker nation and they don't need to make a public show of it.
freaking losers
I definitely don't think it's something that should be expected by every opponent. But at the same time I think for those that have done something, it should be treated as a genuine expression of sympathy, and not something that was done to generate attention. The gestures by Oregon and Illinois were prompted by their specialists who if they didn't know Sam personally, were at least familiar with him through the kicking and punting community.A kid being killed shouldn't be treated like a Derek Jeter retirement party where everyone gives him something.
Alot of things were done and said that didn't have to be plastered on ESPN.
Stop grasping for straws here.
