Did NU just pass Notre Dame in all time wins?

Whatever it takes to climb the ladder. That drops ND to 874 while Nebraska supposedly has 885. And that now makes Brian Kelly's record at Notre Dame 38-51. Remember not that long ago when he was being asked whether he would just jump the NFL because of his impeccable credentials.

Maybe we did, but that doesn't make us a blue blood... just ask the idiot Iowa troll percy in one of the other threads...

Don't see Iowa even sniffing this list and they've played one more year than NU.

Texas is next

Yes they are! GBR

Bama and Ohio State are going to get around us if Saban and Meyer remain at the helm for extended periods.

The solution for them is to hire Rocket Ismail as head coach, and fill in assistants with other former Irish. Rudy D-Line coach? Joe Montana O-coordinator.... etc etc etc

Cheating is cheating, and no one likes a cheater.

It is always a good day when Notre Dame loses something.

They may count the 9 wins that the University changed in 1989 against Lincoln High and Lincoln Medics...

Plenty of teams like USC, Texas, Michigan etc etc count wins against High school teams at the very beginning of college football history, still don't know why Nebraska now counts those as exhibitions.

Wait a minute! According to Iowa fans, they have just as much tradition.

Well, sure--they do have a proud tradition of moral victories, going to December bowl games, and losing 5 or more games a season. Think that's what they mean by "tradition"?

I'd be fine with all of that if Hawkeye fan only knew his place in college football: complete and utter irrelevance, both now and historically. But does any fan base anywhere brag more about their meaningless accomplishments than Iowa? I mean, sure--those multiple Sun Bowl appearances are mighty inspiring, but maybe they could try winning something--anything--of significance before attempting to look down their collective nose at another program? Their peers are Indiana and Purdue, not Nebraska.

OSU and Bama will probably pass us in the not to distant future. We will pass Texas pretty imminently.
