And if there are all these coaches out there that are better, how come South Carolina, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas haven't found one.
I believe all of these schools have hired coaches (multiple coaches at some of these schools) since Stans began his tenure at MSU, yet none have found one that has lasted as long or been as successful. You've got to think that every one of those schools has at least the same draw (or in some cases better) and same resources that MSU does as a program to bring in a coach. But they still haven't found one, so that makes me think our chances aren't very good to get a better coach either.</p>
SC has a pretty good coach it seems. Curious to see how he does, not bad so far.
LSU has 3 SEC titles, a Final Four, and a Sweet 16 in the last 10 years- they seem to be doing ok
Vandy has a disadvantage in recruiting, yet has made a couplr of Sweet 16's- plus, they play Kentucky, Tenn, and Fla twice a year- we dont
Mississippi is averaging 20 wins a season under Kennedy- isnt that what you guys say Stansbury does? Kennedy needs to make the NCAA's this year though
Alabama has decent success under Gottfried, and they have made a solid hire I believe
UPig has got to eliminate the turmoil before their program can get better- no matter who coaches them
Auburn and Georgia suck
