Up until yesterday, the bottom 5 in our lineup have been bad. Starting the day, even CT Bradford's BA was below .300 (it still may be that low). I didn't get to make it to any of the Saturday games, so I didn't know until this thread he sat him for those, too (a shin injury makes sense). Sitting him for that reason against UConn might have been headscratching, but I can completely see it in an early game against an opponent you are comfortable beating. I've seen it done before... sit your best player (especially if your best player has been consistent until that point) and challenge everyone else to produce... especially when production at the plate has been a struggle all year from the latter part of the lineup. And, what do ya know... guys stepped up. CT, Stark, Slaughter, Norris... really, everyone but Britton... they all stepped up. I don't think that's ridiculous at all.
