SC has two East division titles in their history- one of them is his
SC has 3 NCAA's in the last 22 years

Hard to say he isnt building a program yet. They will have 4 starters returning next year

based on your "wait til next year" analysis of his credibility...

Oh, and by the way, division titles in the SEC don't count for anything... hmmm. I have heard that somewhere...</p>

Stans ain't perfect but Coach distorts the facts anytime he is wrong, which is quite often. I guess the fact Pelphrey has a great class coming in is a reason to keep him. Same for Horn, and yes, coach preached Horn and Pelphrey were better coaches than Stans over and over again. At the same time when we get obviously screwed by the zebras such as the lane violation which cost us an NCAA bid and SEC tourney championship and the BS crap we watched today by an incompetent official it is always Stans fault. Same song, different verse. One day some of are going to figure it out.

State basketball was a toxic waste dump (under .500 overall and around .350 in sec--one post season nit one and done loss to alcorn state) for a smooth 27 years before stansbury arrived on campus in 1990. This perception of State being an easier place to win than "x" is because we have been very solid for 20 years (corresponds to the time Stansbury has been on campus--coincidence??)

I know a lot of u are never going to change your mind, but we are a bottom third sec basketball program that has had the good fortune of a very good recruiter and avg coach on our camous for twenty years.

If we are an easier place to win, it is because stansbury has built it to that point.

Maybe because he's 4-0 vs Horn head to head and has had a better team every single year than Horn since he's been at South Carolina? <div>
</div><div>I mean, not sure how you can spin coach A to be better than coach B when A has never fielded a better squad and is 0-4 head to head</div>

Les Miles is 2-0 vs Mullen. So you are saying Miles is a much better coach than Mullen?

Since 1945- 2 conference titles

3 NCAA's the last 22 years

2 division titles since joining the SEC

They rival Mississippi's incompetence as a program

The difference in being able to win at South Carolina and MSU in basketball is obviously ALOT different than how easy it is to win at LSU in football compared to MSU.<div>
</div><div>Les Miles following Saban would be like a coach hired at Kansas to follow Bill Self right now, he would probably beat Iowa State the first couple of times, and that might not make him a better coach. But if you coach at Nebraska in basketball and you beat Iowa St it's a pretty good argument</div>

Stans has NEVER had back to back losing records in the SEC, Horn may have a sweet 16 but so does Rod Barnes and look what that has done for him. FWIW Horn's sweet 16 was because of a lucky buzzer beater and it was also his only NCAA tournament trip in his 8 years as a head coach.

Horn was 6-10 last year and 5-11 this year, and has had back to back losing seasons, AGAIN (as you like to say often) Stans has only had 1 losing season in his CAREER!

Coach I really believe that you are to the point you want people to pull against not only Stans but also our basketball program.

No other things need to be said.

Would you rather have Darrin Horn and his 1 sweet 16, back to back losing seasons, 0-4 record against a coach you say is awful

OR

Stansbury?

Simple question deserves a simple answer.</p>

Anthony Grant

A young, energetic black coach that preaches discipline, defense, and can show his team how to break down a zone instead of launching 3-balls all game long.

Geeez. Didn't you see his answer? Anthony Grant! His answer to "would you rather have Stans or Horn" was "Anthony Grant"....

Can't you people leave him alone? I mean. When students take the ACT, they are now going to allow them to do what Coach did and fill in an answer that isn't on the test. "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" is now going to have 4 choices as answers and then the Coach34 answer of the day which will be totally different than the question. Can't you people see this man is a genius? When the waitress asks me if I'd rather have pie or banana pudding, I'm gonna answer "tire iron". And think of Coach.

The Recruiter coaches at a better basketball school than Horn...but let's see

Recruiter owns a 4-0 advantage right now H2H- advantage Recruiter

The Recruiters 1st 3 years in the SEC- 20-28....Horn- 21-27- advantage Horn

The Recruiters overall record 1st 3 years- 52-42....Horn- 50-41 with a tougher schedule strength- advantage Horn

2 NIT's for The Recruiter....only 1 for Horn- advantage Recruiter

gonna take some more time to come up with an answer

Do you ever wonder why you are the only person on the planet that still thinks Horn and Pelphrey are good coaches? Even the most die hard Arkansas and South Carolina homers are about ready to run them off.

Ok, so the two were pretty even their first three years, you wanna make a bet that Horn's 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th year match Stansbury's? You think Horn will come close to going 42-22 in SEC play the next 4 years w/ 4 straight NCAA tourneys?
