Bonner "What channel is the game on Saturday?" Now lets see who will be the first to Tweet it to Stricklin, Mullen, Matt Wyatt, etc etc. Please people, make it stop!
is sad to see the number of morons that are in this world. I swear, there are probably bout 30-40 tweets a day that Stricklin receives relating to **** like "what time zone is Houston" etc.
Has anyone seen a ABC/Espn2 coverage map for our game? If you look at http://espn.go.com/college-football/schedule, there is a TV coverage map link, but it doesn't link to anything. I assume the entire SE would have our game on ABC since the other option is Syracuse/Penn State.
I had to emall my affiliate after searching for a list all over the place (hailstate, SEC, etc). The GM of the station told me that ABC often doesn't tell them until late in the week what game they will have, but she had gotten word late yesterday that they (WTVM in Columbus) would have our game.
ETA: The guide on the station's website just said College Football, and the DirecTV guide said either our game or PSU/Syracuse.
And seeing as I'm 3 hours from Houston I have no idea why it's not announced yet. That's stupid, it should obviously be your game. Though if you have a gadget with WatchESPN its all irrelevant.
But if anyone does find out, please let me know. Cox cable guide lists "Mississippi State/Oklahome State or Syracuse/Penn State" under ABC and "To be announced" under ESPN2.
I will be traveling and guess that I will have to record both ... can't take the chance that they will show Penn State here in Virginia.
For all of you new, valued, respected, intelligent, competent, and level headed members of SPS, the College Football TV (right between the SPS Fan Shop an Construction Cam links underneath Eric Ray's ad) is amazingly helpful. Both of you should check it out. Especially the printable schedule link that gives the DTV channels.
For those like me that use ad blocking software and don't see all those referred to ads, use this and some common sense to figure out which of your channels is ABC, ESPN, etc and don't ask someone like Bonner, Stricklin, etc in MS what your channel in (fill in the blank w/ your state) is carrying....................
