This kid has never played pro ball or college. He is from the folded up G League College type team. Totally different than a 2 year college player who signed 3 pro deals and comes back after 2 years away.

Also, he's only 19, the same age as a lot of college freshmen. He was a high four star his senior year at 17.
edit note...he reclassified and his class would now be juniors and he's still 19 so he was a high 4 star as a 16 year old.

Pope needs all the help he can get. He can’t afford not to take advantage of any rules that he can use in his favor.
