Id rather stay home then have my team pull some Nate Oats do anything to win and still don't win garbage.
This kid has never played pro ball or college. He is from the folded up G League College type team. Totally different than a 2 year college player who signed 3 pro deals and comes back after 2 years away.

Also, he's only 19, the same age as a lot of college freshmen. He was a high four star his senior year at 17.
edit note...he reclassified and his class would now be juniors and he's still 19 so he was a high 4 star as a 16 year old.

Wait.. we turned him down? With 3 guys already done for the year? Its like we are trying to make life as hard as possible on ourselves.

You can't bring this guy in now, no way. They just fixed the locker room and at this point, roles are established. Aberdeen is our starting pg, bringing a dude in now to take that spot, will destroy team chemistry.
Now, if the NCAA allows G-League guys to play college ball as long as they never played in the NBA, I'm good with bringing him in next year to be our primary pg, but not this year, no way.
