he thinks LSU has a better shot of beating Bama than State beating A&M. Discuss.

Even after last night... I really don't see that. The main thing going for LSU is their defense, but they have 0 offense. I really have no idea where their points are going to come from.

aTm on the other hand, has a porous defense, and we'll be able to trade with them. Obviously... I don't agree.

No chance for LSU. They won't move the ball at all against Alabama.

They may put up worse offensive numbers than AU did against you.

Your game will depend on whether you can score enough and take advantage of Manziel's inevitable stupid mistakes.

I disagree...

We have the exact blueprint on how to beat A&M... We will force Manziel to stay in the pocket and beat us with his arm, which he hasn't yet proven that he can do IMO. Once LSU went to a 3-man front, they were done. Something we can also do. While we don't have the talent that LSU or Florida does on defense, we do have the talent OM does and they pretty well contained Manziel in that game. They can't defend the pass at all and Russell will be the best passing QB they have seen so far. The only way A&M beats us is IF one of our banged up OTs can't go, because Robinson has looked bad in the backup tackle role, and as our pass protection goes(we saw last night) so goes our offense.

No one has any blueprint on how to beat Alabama...I see nothing, whatsoever, that inclines me to believe that LSU will be able to score at all on that team. McCarron beat them with his arm in the national championship game and is fully capable of doing it again...

A one dimensional Florida team ran the ball down LSU`s throat....Bama ain`t one dimensional and has a better O-line than Fl.

We will feel like we are playing a high school defense (aTm) after playing Bama. It may take 40 pts but I think we win the game.

I absolutely agree with him....

aTm is a great road team that will score points vs anyone; Bama is at LSU; enough said.

What a homer

I think LSU will keep it closer, but I think Bama will beat them. 21-7 or so if I had to guess.

You have now said this twice on here, and it is getting more and more ignorant every time you say it...

Because they blew out the worst Auburn team in history, which has long since quit, in a half full stadium at 11AM, they are a "great road team"? Must have forgotten about the shittastic performaces they put together in Shreveport and Oxford... And how they were shut down at home by both LSU and Florida...

Why, because they put 60 points on Auburn? Auburn is one of the worst teams in college football. They were lucky as hell to get the one win they have.

He used to to a pretty good job of staying somewhat objective. But he's really been drinking the yellow Kool Aid this year. Bama doesn't lose in Tiger Stadium and they will win easily there this year. This game will look a lot like the national title game last year did.

Sounds like the astute observation of a LSU homer...

..the guy knows nothing about any team outside of LSU. He uses this board every Sunday as a LSU cheerleading section. The rest of his takes are what he heard on ESPN or at the barber shop. Here's the difference: We will be able to move the ball on aTm's crappy defense. On the other hand, it will be a miracle if LSU gets a FG against Bama's defense.

Strongly disagree

See if you can get him to bet that. State has a 15 or 20 percent chance of beating a&m. Lsu has a less than one percent chance of beating bama.

He lost what little credibility he had then cause LSU has virtually NO chance

of beating Bama.......Will be a repeat of the BCS game.........State has a chance against aTm albeit not as good a chance as I thought two weeks ago...

I'm guessing that you do not make a career out of statistical analysis...Both numbers are ridiculous.

In reality, I replied to Dawgstudents statement of "MSU will bounce back against A&M". And I said "Not so fast my friend. I wouldn't be too sure about that. ". Hence this is his way of getting the board fired up!

Nice tactic

Let's re-phrase it then...

You have now said this twice on here, and it is getting more and more ignorant every time you say it...

aTm is 6-2, having won all its road games this year, and were not quite "shut down" by LSU or Fla as you put it. They lost to those two teams by a total of 8 points. AP rates them a notch better than us while Sagarin says it isn't close....aTm rated at 7 while MSU is rated at 28. Oddsmakers will give them the edge even though they are playing at our place. They will come into DWS with all guns blazing, and if we are not ready they will treat us just like they did Auburn.

No - I said in "State has a better chance of beating A&M than LSU does of beating Bama". You said no way.

I do in fact

We will see. Weren't you the one who told me I was crazy for saying state would be lucky to cover the 24 point spread against bama?

They were shut down. Close games against one dimensional, crappy scoring offenses does not change the fact that they scored a grand total of 7 point in the second half of those two games combined, basically in garbage time against LSU. Those teams had a difficult time adjusting to A&M at first, but once they did, it was lights out for A&M.

Of the 4 units, A&M's defense is the weakest link and will be exploited as such.

Really, what field?

Not that I recall, no.

Saying we have a 20% chance and Alabama a 99% chance next week is asinine. Real odds are more like 50-60% for us and 15-20% for LSU.

Nothing in sports is EVER 99%. Not even close. Look at people that have done quantitative analysis of this for reference.

Bama's O will not have to be that good ...

for them to beat LUS. Mettenberger will be good for at least one tide score, possibly 2.

As for state-aTm, everything and I mean everything depends on this coaching staff having a beatdown bunch ready to play. We're fixing to see what mullens is worth.

As I told him last night.

His argument is bama's D is not "as good as it is" and it is at night at tiger Stadium.

Bama is 20-6 since 1950 in tiger stadium.

LSU cannot pass like we did.

No one will be able to run on Alabama.

Alabama doesn't turn the ball over.

LSU may not score.

McCarron will pick the LSU secondary apart. aGAIN.

UF and South Carolina showed you can power run on LSU. I think Alabama can do that**

Bama will Score. A lot.

A&M gave up 57 to LA Tech, and 21 to Auburn. The A&M defense is not that good.

We know how to beat A&M. Contain Manziel. LSU and UF showed how to do that.

Manziel will give you the ball. (see UM, LSU, UF, La Tech)
