Heads up to dish subscribers. Who thinks Dish would turn off ESPN during football season? I do after the stand off they had with AMC.

The last line of the article invalidates it in a bunch of ways for me... Could you possibly be more inaccurate in something you are attempting to convey?

Disney owns ESPN and ABC. So the deal will be for all the ESPN Channels, ABC, and Disney Channels. The non-network channels don't like that the Hopper can skip commercials on their channels. I have heard Dish may drop ESPN from all their tv packages and offer it as an additional sports programming package. Could get interesting.

If they do this, they are signing their own death warrant as a company. ALL of their competitors are praying this happens. Make no mistake -- NO MATTER what it costs, DISH will get this done...

ESPN owns basic cable. Live sports is the only thing keeping traditional TV alive...
