I recommend listening to some of the de transitioning people to hear how they were coaxed into the trans culture. It’s varied, but it is clearly a social formation and not a biological. This does not mean all people are in this mix, but demonstrates how susceptible people can be to the idea of transitioning.

The law doesn’t prevent children from hearing the word gay. It makes it illegal for adults to have secreted sexual conversations with children. I would think most normal people would think the bill doesn’t go far enough. Should be K-8!

Doesn’t appear that you’ve read the bill. No one is censoring teachers to the point that they can’t say gay. You just can’t have secret convos with the kiddos about sex. Is that too much to ask?

Is it okay to have a somewhat nuanced stance on the subject? I think trans people live a tortured life that I can’t even comprehend. They should be free to live their life free of persecution and bigotry as much as anyone else.
But society shouldn’t have to change the way the rest of us do things to accommodate them. In no other walk of life are you expected to go out of your way to cater to the 1% of people.

Very true, but I currently only see one side going after everybody else’s kids.
The concerning aspect is that there seems to be an increase in trans identification since being trans has been the subject of so much praise. Especially among young girls. When kids are suffering from body image issues, like most do, and people are telling them that their reactions are signs of being trans and the community is pushing that narrative, you get some kids being socialized to the idea. And, some parents. I know a woman who has pushed the gay narrative on her daughter and seems to be seeking the praise of the gay community for doing so.
