The defense is a mess. Time to simplify things and get back to simple correct alignment and assignment. We are constantly out of position and got burned for long games due to their superior scheming. Not sure where Gillotte has been and frankly of linebackers and safeties seem to slow in coverage.

Offensively, we need to grow some stones. Repeatedly being denied on 3rd and short and 4th and short is mostly a function of heart. Shough running out of bounds instead of getting a first down shows a lack of heart. Don Chaney is too slow. Our offensive tackles are struggling big time.

The coaching has been horrendous. Terrible job by Brohm and English.

Agree with all that.. Poor coaching, poor execution, poor effort and I will add poor officiating.. The game as a whole was piss poor. !

Unfortunately you can’t simplify things when teams are doing all the pre snap motion. What puzzles me is how you can all of sudden shut receivers down in the 4th quarter but couldn’t for the first three? I don’t get it?

You can simplify by not constantly rotating in new personnel. Pre-snap motion is just noise to confuse a defense that is late getting calls and/or personnel in.
