Anthony Dixon - "I'm just happy. I guess that is all there is to it! (He was laughing the entire time. He also received a standing ovation from the entire crowd and it was a huge crowd.)

seriously, where the hell did you get that? Out your "source" or just admit you made it up. Mullen was there.

and despite supposedly keeping up with the team, and hearing Mullen speak about Dixon numerous times since then, you think it's still true. Correct?

McCluster is an outstanding player and in some other years he could have won the award, but when you look at their total body of work for the whole season, it's not even close.

I wouldn't be totally surprised if Dixon didn't chafe a little bit 8 months ago at finally being asked to work as hard as major college football players all over the country work. But I bet he appreciates the hell out of Dan Mullen today.

so just about anything seems believable.

No, I saw the coach-player embrace at the Egg Bowl. The two men care about each other as much as heterosexual men can.

come April.

Funny how the Walrus, the world famous NFL RB coach, didn't do **** with Dixon. Mullen comes in and gets him from "not on draft board" to sure-fire draft pick, and probably in a pretty early round to boot.

Dear Steven Jackson - please ignore everything that comes out of Croom's mouth.

he certainly didn't grow it since Saturday when he was facial hair free, or he's just the manliest damn man on the planet.

You could tell Dixon loved this offense because it finally got him out of that dreaded I formation up the gut predictable offense we ran under Croom. He actually had running lanes and the opportunity to make people miss on a regular basis.
