This administration clearly cares little about us, the fans. They have made their short sighted decisions already. I for one don't plan on showing my support for their ineptitude and incompetence. I'll be back when we stop losing to every decent team we play. Until then, this gang of amateurs doesn't deserve any more of my money nor my time.

Better: Donate more to improve product if you care enough to incessantly complain. If you don't want to help the cause, but are tired of the half-*** effort Rutgers is displaying, then feel free to stop going to games and stop buying tickets - but also do us the favor of not posting any longer as well. If hesitant, earmark donations for specific use.

Sam ... You might have others join you if there was some way to bridge Priority Points for missed years of buying. Unless you can find someone to buy your season tickets in your name in years you want to abstain, you're stuck.

There's a name for that - throwing good money after bad. Can't really blame the OP, that is the only control that we have. We can't force Flood to make certain player personnel decisions, nor we can force Barchi to fire Flood. The OP speaks to the one thing we can control.

There are fair weather fans , and then there are Die Hards. I'm a Die Hard. Have been since 1971 my freshman year at Clothier Dorm. I think there are many more Fair Weather fans , like the OP, than die hards.

Agree, there are fair weather fans, and there are die hards ... and then, there are masochists.

The northeast and in particular New Jersey is full of fair-weather fans and front runners. Remember how many Rutgers fans came out of the woodwork in 2006?

How will donating more improve the product ? Be specific, because I don't think it will

Unfortunately, it seems this administration/athletic department is so incredibly dense that they will only get a clue when they see an empty stadium. If you all want to financially support incompetence, be my guest...I fear that will not send the message you want

Money gets us at minimum a qualified coach not to mention facility upgrades. How about a new practice facility? Bigger recruiting budget? Money improves our situation tenfold.

If you read the entire post I said why not earmark donations for specific use. And if you don't understand how more money in the program gives it a better chance to succeed I don't know what to tell you.

Again if you don't want to give money anymore fine. Just stop complaining about the product. I mean why stand aside idle, yet continue to complain, while you have some kind of tangible (partially tangible) method of contributing to improvement? You're complaining to the wrong people you have the power to stop your angst by not following along.

try a protest that is more likely to be supported by most fans, like no one sitting in their seats until the second quarter

Not going to the games will solve nothing. Other than giving haters ammunition. In my honest opinion the answer lies with Barchi and his willingness to loosen up the purse strings.

I'm a die hard too, but I think we've passed the point that the new name for die hards is SUCKERS

I am as disgusted as anybody, but you want me to burn my tickets for the last 2 games and cancel the tailgates I have scheduled. I started following RU sports in 1975 and they are a big part of my life. Not just throwing in the towel now.

You want change, the push for a new President. Leadership starts at the top. His previous experience is provost of U Penn and President of Thomas Jefferson University, a small college dedicated to health science and research. I am not denigrating him as a Man, he has advanced degrees, and his contribution to the Mergers speak for itself. But the merger has been essentially completed, and he needs to be the leader of a Big 10 University, not just manage a merger. This is a conference whose charter says members will strive for excellence in both academics and athletics.

Barchi wants donors to pay for everything in athletics with RU making no commitments whatsoever. This attitude of being willing to take the BIG money, but not make any commitments or investments is not going to attract a lot of Big donors who are looking for a partnership, not just to be a sugar daddy.

The time has come.

More money for recruiting "ambassadors" for our players to fornicate with.
