do we have strengh & conditioning program for baseball? we look like 16 yr olds

Granted, I've not watched us play on TV this season until this weekend (only followed on the radio thus far) but other than a few players like Rea, Holder and Anderson, our players seem small, young and high school-esque with no power, muscle or definition. While, LSU's players look like they do 'roids.

Much like saban only recruits players that have certain sizes, Cohen only recruits 5'8" guys with good speed, no power, high k rate, and prefers them to hit pop ups. We find these guys everywhere...

We found that type last season in Omaha.

I did enjoy it last year. Did you not? I would be anything that after 4 sec weekends last year you thought we would not make Omaha, am I right? We have had a crappy weekend but it's not the end of the road for this team. Take a look at the schedule. Ole Miss and Alabama are the only good teams left on our schedule. Everyone else is average or bad. This team will never be a big time scoring team but we will win games.

Interesting that Kendall Rogers tweeted yesterday about Alabama hiring a new strength coach and how much stronger they look this year. Blame it on Cohen and his singles hitting recruiting.

Yay, we can beat ****** teams!!! (Most of the time). Unfortunately we won't be playing any in the postseason which is why our postseason play will be very short.

Where do you see singles hitter? I was reminded that this team is built on getting walks, HBP, and the opponent committing errors so that we can get the ground out rbi and fielder's choice run scored. That is the type of players Cohen has been recruiting according to some on this board.

I'm with you. Four series into the SEC season last year we were 26-9 and 5-7 in the SEC, this year 20-12 and 6-6. We hit our stride at the perfect time last year and I hope we have a similar run this year. Yeah, hosting a regional would be favorable but int the past we seem to do better when we don't have byes and jump right into the fight.

I thought, overall,

we looked pretty similar to LSU (as well as every other team we've played this year).

Does any baseball team have a S&C program? I was watching the Mets this past weekend and Jose Valverde has chicken wings and a beer gut that would rival some of yours.
