Do you give a rip about who goes to SEC Media Days?

It's a max 10 second talking point for me. But good golly. Some on the paid board have their jimmies rustled over the fact that Brenan Thompson is going.

Shapen, Isaac, and Thompson for those wondering.

Considering the roster turnover who will it be? My bet is Issac Smith, Shappen and D booth cause that's about all the starters from last year that I can name!

No idea who Brenan Thompson is
Says Brenen Thompson runs a 10.38 one hundred. That's scootin' in my book! Looks like he originally committed to Texas out of high school over a bunch of others. Probably a scatback receiver if I had to guess.

I never have really cared. Media days is just so the media can circle jerk about GA and Bama. Now you can add Texas.

I couldn’t name 3 players on the team. Being bad at football sucks.
It isn't just being bad, it is the transfers. 5 years ago I could name 50 players on our roster and 30 on U of M. I couldn't name 15 on ours or 5 on theirs.

I don’t even care if Lebby goes. What’s he going to say to convince anyone they we will win an SEC game.

Nope. I don’t watch. Years ago I watched some but don’t care anything about these days.

Not one bit

The real question is… do I give a rip about this football team anymore? Of course, I do, but its star is fading fast

To me, it's near impossible to get excited about the 2025 season. Some wins have to come first. The one thing about Mullen when he was hired - he was out selling the program. Telling the fans to buy in. Lebby has done very little - if at all - of that.
I think a big part of that is he's way in over his head. It's an overwhelming job for him.
