No thanks.

But which WVU reject will the Herd go after now? Rodriguez? Calvin McGhee? Holgorsen?

All of which are better than what you have in Morgantown currently

That's what Holgorsen thinks. Has he won game yet. Where is Rod and McGhee unemployment line?

Tom Herman needs a job. Perhaps look at him.

I was actually thinking Rod would be a great hire in this piss poor league called CUSA. Can you imagine how much more content that would provide these forums with?

Unfortunately, they'll probably hire Brad Lambert, who has a 22-48 career record. State of WV probably doesn't have enough money to pitch in the extra $3,000,000 Rod would require to coach.

Well making the Final 4, hosting traditional powers Oklahoma and or Texas every year and a couple of College Gameday broadcasts (meaning our team deserved a visit) .... yeah ..... maybe things did get a little bigger.

Is Chad Pennington still coaching someplace? Yes Rod would be a good hire he needs a new stepping stone for his career.

If I had a dime for every time the WVU boys have assured me the death of MU football is coming, I'd have more money than Jeff Bezos!

He did a lot of good things here but he burned his bridges here when he tried to back stab Stew.
Recruiting has changed dramatically within the last 10 years, even longer. Doc could find his hidden gems down in south Florida back then, but now days, recruiting outlets have drastically improved, as has other methods of technology. It's all about connections down there, and I'm not sure Doc still has a bunch of them, as people change over the course of a couple decades. I'm assuming he still does, but kids these days want to play for bigger programs, and have the means to put themselves out there.
