Does anyone actually believe Trump is an anti-Semite?

I do not. And I don't think he is a racist. But for some odd reason he tiptoes around the fringes of the far right. It is though he doesn't want to offend the groups that supported him early and stuck with him through the campaign and even now. Why did he need to pick sessions as AG? There wasn't another potential AG candidate without the baggage Sessions brought? At times he seems to be completely blind to the mixed messages he sends.

The far right is much like the far left. As long as they stay within the law they have rights too.

Ivanka Trump converted to Judaism before marrying Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, in 2009.

Enough on the Jeff Sessions lies. Sessions is not what he was made out to be.

I didn't until the last few weeks. Watch the video. The way he treated this reporter is repulsive. He didn't even bother to answer the question and take advantage of the opportunity to reassure the nation that those actions of antisemitism are unacceptable. Instead he got defensive and angry.

On January 27th, the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Trump didn't even mention the Jews. WOW!

Since his daughter is a Jew, I would think that he isn't. But it could also be like the person that has the one black friend but calls all the others n----.

I don't know one way or another, but if people think that to begin with, he did nothing to pacify those thoughts by not mentioning the Jews at all during Holocaust Remembrance day. It's like he almost discounted them altogether.

Yeah, but that's because he's an idiot.... not a racist.

People still don't understand that Trump is more "moderate" "liberal" than he is "far right" conservative.

On some social issues he may be more moderate/liberal, but that's it. I'm not sure where to classify his populist trade ********? I guess you could argue that's liberal, but his foreign policy, SC nominee, tax policy, immigration policy, environmental policy, etc range from conservative to Uncle Pepe Alt-Right conservative.

I get it, which is why I phrased it the way I did ... people predisposed to think that he is will use that as more justification for their thoughts. I personally don't think he is, but I can kinda understand why some people would think that he is.

He is definitely an idiot. I'm honestly questioning how literate he is. He's openly admitted that he doesn't read, and when you look at his vocabulary it's at about a 6th grade level, if even that. He doesn't use any words that you wouldn't find in a children's book, and I don't know of many well educated people that use "very" as much as he does, they find different words to use instead of very ____. It makes me wonder if he grew up with dyslexia or something and never learned to cope with it in an academic setting.

Hahahaha hahahaha this guy? The one who says what lengths Trump goes to outreach within the Jewish community? The same guy who said he is deeply offended by people saying Trump is an anti-Semite?

Just another display of what a sad little man you are.

What part of my response is inaccurate? Don't you agree that his (Trump's) response to the guy was repulsive, disrespectful, rude? Don't you agree that he dodged the question? Don't you agree that he could have simply said "the antisemitism we are seeing in this country is unacceptable"? Don't you agree Trump was angry and defensive?

No, I don't and apparently the very guy you think should be offended by all of that doesn't agree with you either.

He did that later in the presser, but blamed anything that was happening on the opposition, saying it was liberals.

"Idiots" don't get to attend the Wharton School of business and earn a degree in economics from Penn. You are "very" off base on making such unfounded and baseless comments. He has many faults but none of them point to him as being an "idiot". I seriously doubt an "idiot" could have orchestrated such an improbable achievement as his by winning the Presidency.

Here is an actual transcript of part of his speech:

Transcription:

“Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart —you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you’re a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.”

I want to see his transcripts and SAT scores ... those were other things he refused to allow to be seen.

I would say that his election is proof that indeed an idiot can win the presidency.

I think they all should. It is actually strikingly alarming to me how little vetting is done for the office of POTUS. Of course the press tries to dig up stuff, but beyond that, there is very little done. Considering it's the most powerful position in the land, don't you think they should undergo at least as much scrutiny as I do for my job? For mine they go talk to neighbors, ex-coworkers, previous employers, check credit and all kinds of things. They ask everywhere I lived, every school I attended, teachers and classmates that knew me while I was there ... presumably they try to call those people and get transcripts of my records there (although I am not sure about that)

SMH on that one. You don't think the election cycle is extreme vetting? I seriously you have been subjected to more scrutiny than Trump and Obama were.

Well, if the same kind of vetting was done, Obama's birth certificate wouldn't even be a question because everybody would know that it had already been researched. Were Trump's medical records officially reviewed? Were his tax returns and transcripts from school? Did officials go talk to his teachers and students? Were his credit scores pulled?

With all due respect, why did Hillary meet with BLM and refused a meeting with the Police Officers Union? Why pick Holder as AG? BTW, Sessions has no baggage. The trumped up charges of the 80's did not stick. The original testifiers never showed up again. He fought for segregated schools. He sought and won the death penalty for the head of the clan. He helped the family sue in civil court and they won enough damages to put the Klan out of business.

Are you proposing a examination board be established to determine if a citizen can run for office? And if the board determined that Trump was qualified to run we all know that many people such as yourself would make claims that "other" factors led to him getting approved,

Really? You know that? How exactly do you know that?
