start at LT next season? Does anyone have information on the heir apparent at LT if it isn't Carmon? I was surprised to see Wilson's comments about Carmon.

But, I feel that Carmon will start and that he will play very well. I've felt this long before Wilson made those comments last night. <div>

although Carmon's body type is more for an OT than an interior DL. I think if he a couple of more seasons - he could prove to be a good OT. Here's to him proving me wrong.

I was told by several people on staff that his move to OL was a permanent one, so LTmost likely is where he will be

i've had 4 or 5 players and one coach tell me he is a natural out their, great leverage, his footwork is already there (not just the quickness, but the steps) he just needs to be coached up on how to use his hands. i think its going to turn out great, and im not that optimistic usually when it comes to things like this.

to replace a three year starter (that was a part time starter as a true freshman) that is likely a first round NFL pick. More power to him trying to live up to the expectations that the fans will have for that position. However, if he does pan out then a line of Lawrence, Smith, Saulsberry, Jackson and Carmon would be a great foundation for our offense next year. I expect D Day, B Clausell and D Robinson to get some time too. Spring should be fun.

to replace a potential first draft pick at LT. However, Carmon can still be a very good LT and not be as good as Sherrod. Wasnt Sherrod the OL of the week in the SEC about 1/3 of the weeks last year?

Steve Campbell at MGCCC refuses to play out-of-state players at offensive line. As a former offensive line coach, I guess he considers it HIS position and takes pride in his home state. Carmon played OL in high school and should have played it in college from the very get-go.
