POLL Does it make sense for Trump to literally tell the world that we don't know who interfered?

should Trump admit we don't know who interfered with our election?

I feel this made it look as if though there is a huge disconnect between the WH and the US intelligence community. I don't understand why Trump wouldn't either condemn Russian openly, or defer the question to a later date by saying something ambiguous ("we are looking into the matter" or "more information is still turning up, we will address this in time"). Or even just deflect to the goals of the summit ("it's important to realize the vital goals in front of us here at this crucial summit, we need to focus on going forward").

I don't need to agree with Trump, but I still want the US to at least project strength ahead of a summit like this. I didn't get strength and unity.....speech aside.....at the press conference I got the impression we are a nation at war with itself, without any real protection from our intelligence apparatus. Liberal bias?

I hope he uses the "400 lb guy on a bed" line again. Meanwhile the 800 lb gorilla in the room of Russian interference continues to be denied by Trumplethinskin. He looks either weak and uninformed or guilty of collusion.

It appears that he doesn't even rely on the information they are willing and able to offer him.

These stupid bastards do not realize the potential consequences of our president making claims that our intel are not in agreement. Charge Sessions with making a conclusion as to the involvement by Russia. Then give an opinion as to the damage that was intended, and the actual results of involvement. Then make a comparison of their involvement vs. our involvement and impact on their politics. That would be our total involvement with associates and countries.

Meet with the military leaders in cabinets, and assess what the president should do and th?e expected consequences of the president's statements. Is this stuff not grounds for WWIII? Is anything worth the expected response. "War is hell".

Right now, we have a very fractured intel service. Sessions must get involved and get all agencies on the same course. Kiss and make up. Start anew and all that stuff. I do not put full trust in anybody in the swamp - particularly the older entrenched and the youth trying to pave their own trail with knowledge of where their superiors are and how they got there.

Guys, one day Hillary just can't run blocking for the President any longer. She's got the body of a fullback, but Trump is just going to have to be judged only on his own merit at some point.

There is a difference between pointing out the economic mess created (or not dealt with at least) during 8 years of opposition leadership (6 in Congress as well), and constantly deflecting Trump's actions by hiding behind the failures of a former Sec of State and Democratic candidate.

Now if you want to allude to Obama's foreign policy as a reason for Trump's actions or statements, that's totally valid. For example, (saying that Trump wants the world to see a disconnect between him and the intelligence community, because Obama used our ic to undermine leaders that Trump seeks alliances with now.) that would make sense to me.

It just continually amuses me when the left continues to paint Trump as an unintelligent boob with no idea what he is doing. The man is a billionaire and became President of the US. It's been 2 years since he announced his candidacy and after 2 years of succeeding when he is being told he'll fail, you all still haven't learned.

With that said, specifically on Russia, Obama punted, until just before he left office, when in another foreign policy failure, he decided to sanction Russia on his way out the door. That was maybe the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen a President do to an incoming administration. It very well should have been done, but he dropped a turd in the Lincoln bedroom floor with that one. It wasn't his place at that point. He limited the incoming administration's options, intentionally.
