iowa being ranked would be a sad, sad joke. I think we'll be ranked around 22nd.
we should be ahead of ND, maybe Oklahoma too. Prob pass Ole Miss too. I personally think we're better than Florida...they stink.
lsu should flat out not be ranked. not that it matters, they aren't good and they'll be lucky to go 6-6
msu is not good and jacksonville state is fcs -- their offense is awful and d is average. probably means wisky is overrated too.
Honestly, I'm not laughing at Iowa because I know NDSU is just that good. Iowa is overrated, however. 95 percent of D1 teams don't want any piece of NDSU.

In NDSU were to play 12 games this year against power 5 teams they would be able to pull off an upset or so. But with their current makeup of scholarships and talent, they would be at best 3-9 in a power 5 league. They don't have depth and that would be extremely evident over 12 games. The posters that believe they would win a majority of their games against power 5 competition is the same guy who believes the NCAA champion can be competetive in a game with the Cleveland Browns.

I understood the statement about winning half to mean that they could beat the lower half of conference teams. Probably likely in the B1G and others where the bottom half is pretty weak.
Well beating the bottom half of a league doesn't make you a top 25 team. It makes you like 63.

i'm saying let them in and enjoy it.... ndsu would own the MAC even with scholarship limits. if a team from the MAC can end up ranked so should ndsu. what's the difference? enjoy it, just like when marshall was ranked when they had randy moss and pennington. outside the top 8-10, the rankings don't matter anyway.
i should change what i said that either central or western michigan has that 12-0 shot... they play each other. regardless...
