Wondering how long Donati would wait to pull the plug if the season goes as it's looking. We'll probably enter conference play 9-4 whereas last year we were 10-3. Unless there's some kind of magic transformation like we pulled of '96, it's hard to see anything better than last year's record. Based on the moves with the football team, I don't think Donati is messing around. If we start 0-5 in conference play, which is a distinct possibility, would that do it?
I think the cake is baked for Paris at this point. Again, unless this team does a spectacular transformation when the schedule hits conference play, it's impossible to see Paris surviving 4-14, 2-16 and something comparable in conference play this season. It's just matter of when to do it.
If nothing seems to click in the first few conference games, what's the point in waiting?
