It proves that it's not very bold to predict he will get more carries next season.

Seriously, he did pretty well. He also caught a couple of TD passes and while maybe not as good a blocker as Clay (yet, anyway) he might be more of a weapon with the ball. Wellman is not going to make or break our season but I agree he proved he can contribute.

He will contribute in a variety of ways...but won't be the solution to running back depth.
