Don't understand the hate for Frost.

I've hated him up until now, but at this point the guy's just an ironman who works hard. He's not going to win games for you but he won't lose them either.

Last year he was an error machine

as well as a poor hitter. He even managed to pop up ****s on a regular basis. Has done well this year so far.

There have been times in the past where he has been a liability, but there have been far worse. Ogden was an error machine, but had a decent bat and he comes to mind. Frost has been a workhorse this year and just made an outstanding play. O, and he has a stolen base, too. That's not a liability in my book.

I actually thought he was a pretty decent 2B the last couple of years. Most of his errors seemed to come at 3B.

Is it hating on a guy to state what is obvious, that being he doesn't have an arm for 3rd base? If he is at 2nd I'm fine with that but with a team this talented there is no need to have a guy at 3rd that doesn't belong there.

The bottom line from my perspective

Our fans see a guy that is small and doesn't look like he belongs out there and so people assume he sucks. He is what he is. Just about every team has a Sam Frost on their team.

For the record

I've never said he sucks. I've said he's hit the ball well (so far), hss a pretty damn good glove at 2b & 3b, but has a tendency to make bad throws from 3b. That's my only problem w him, to this point. I don't think you can disagree w that.

He's pretty much the only senior who hasn't improved on a yearly basis. We are talking Wayne Madkin levels of inconsistency. But on a bright note Evan Mitchell starts tomorrow.****

Absolutely not. Like someone said, he may not be the reason you win games, but at this point, he won't be the reason you lose games, either. As a matter of fact, he has outperformed Darryl Norris at 3B AND at the plate so far this year. He had a great night last night, too. He will never play on a major league field, but the guy busts his *** for this team and some of the hate he gets on here is pretty undeserved.

ETA: He will NEVER have as many throwing errors as Ogden did. Ogden had a good bat, but I cringed every time that guy had to field a ball and throw it to first. Out of 64 total errors in 2011 made by this team, 24 of them were Ogden's. That same year, Frost had 2. Granted he had 15 last year, but that still doesn't come close to Ogden's.
